You will notice that there are lots of water lotus being seen & grown in Thailand, even in busy Bangkok and in the hotel surroundings. Water lotus are associated closely with Buddhism and therefore is an important cultural symbol in Thailand. You will also seen many statues and monuments of the elephant.
