Alaska Things to Do: 496 reviews and 834 photos
The Portage Glacier is the most visited attraction in Alaska, even surpassing Denali National Park. The Glacier is about 2.5 miles long and it flows into the Portage Lake. There is a visitor's centre called Begich Boggs Visitor Centre where you can view the glacier.
Directions: A mile south of the town of Portage in Kenai Peninsula is the junction of Seward Highway and Portage Glacier Assess Road. Just follow this road and it will lead you to the visitor's centre.
