K A L A V R I T A :

It's a small, relaxing, wonderful city over the mountains, just a few kilometres from Patras.
Very historical place, bring back a lot of memmories for all the Greeks.
You can go there by car (national road).
But the better way is to take the railway of Diakopto - Kalavrita.
It's an old diesel railway (from 1896) that's going next to Vouraikos river.
Amazing drive through caves, up and down the mountains.

Take a look at the Great Spileon and Agia Lavra's church (stop in Zachloru and then climb to see the monasteries).
