"Powder Mills Park. Great..." Top 5 Page for this destination Rochester Off The Beaten Path Tip by nuker

Rochester Off The Beaten Path: 34 reviews and 58 photos

Powder Mills Park. Great place to hang out. Excellent hiking areas. Right next to Woodcliff Lodge. Fish hatchery. Cross country skiing, sledding, and beginner skiing in winter. Great place to hide and have a BBQ in summer. Located off of Route 96 in Bushnell's Basin. Look for signs. Many different trails to walk around on. A must is the walk to the top of Sand Hill. Once at the top, walk down the front where the sand and the Railroad ties are. In the summer, my friends and I always hung out in the park. After work, that was the place to be to listen to music and drink some beers.
