"Flea markets can have much more than just junk.." Les Puces - Flea Markets Tip by DesertRat

Les Puces - Flea Markets, Paris: 18 reviews and 33 photos

You can drop a few Euros here...
by DesertRat

The Clignancourt Flea Market is arguably Europe's largest, and stretches for blocks and blocks on the north side of the city just beyond the Périphérique, Paris's infamous "ring road".

What to buy: You can find absolutely anything here -- somewhere -- from 18th century antiques to African sculpture, and from old, worn-out toys to 19th century erotica. If you can imagine it, you can probably find it here.

What to pay: From nothing to thousands.

Address: Take Métro #4 to the Porte Clignancourt stop.
Directions: Outside the métro station, turn left, walk to the main road, turn right and go straight ahead, past the McDonalds, and keep on until you cross under the freeway. That is where the fun begins...
