When you go to Singapore one of the things that you have to try is the Chili Crab. It's one of the favorite dishes of the country, so popular that they even make magnets so you can stick them on your refrigerator and always remember you favorite meal (I have one on my fridge at home). I was lucky enough to be shown around Singapore by a local who loved to eat and was proud to show off his local cuisine. Since I had not tried Chili Crab a trip to one of his favorite restaurants was in order. I put my stomach into his hands and let him do the ordering. I was not disappointed.

The restaurant itself is nothing fancy but was packed with locals. Every table was full of people eating and having fun. It was a great experience and mot definitely better than anything I would have had in the hotel.

Favorite Dish: The food that my friend ordered was perfect. We started out with coconut milk which you drink out of the coconut. They also give you a spoon so you can pick out the meat. We also had the prawns which came out piping hot and un-peeled so we had to work for it. The last dish was the Chili Crab which is served in a big bowl. The whole crab is cooked and then cracked and then the chili sauce is poured over it. Be careful this dish is not only spicy but also very temperature hot. Don't worry about getting messy and dig in for a great meal. If you like crab and spice, this is for you.
