"The bears of Berlin" Public Art Tip by sim1

Public Art, Berlin: 40 reviews and 41 photos

When I walked through the city center of Berlin, I saw statues of bears everywhere. On every corner of the street, in front of hotels, and dozens at "Unter dem Linden". Hahaha, I thought they were so much fun, I have made quite a few pictures of them... so here they are!!!

In the picture above you can see me with the Spiegelbär
Name of the bear : Spiegelbär
Location : Friedrichstr./Leipziger Str.
Artist : Nikolai Ilieff

You can read more info about the bears on : http://www.buddy-baer.com/index.html (website is in German).
I have tried to add the name of the bear, artist and location to most of the pictures. But for a few of the bears I haven't found the info yet.... so if you recognize the bear, and know it's name, please let me know!!!
