Around 295 DM/night (then US$1=2.3-2.4 DM) in September, 2001. Prices vary among rooms.

Unique Qualities: A castle hotel, perched above Rhein valley. It offers magnificent views of the Rhein river valley in the front, and rolling/hilling terrain at the back.
<BR>Every room is of different size and shape, due to the original build of the castle.
<BR>Rm 33 was in a separate courtyard above the open-air breakfast place (where serves breakfast only in nice weather time, otherwise inside the indoor dining hall).
<BR>Not every room is accessible through elevators, so be prepared to carry your luggage up to your room, or have hotel staff do it for you.
<BR>Food was excellent, with a great view of the vineyard covered hills and part of the castle ruin, the curtain wall (see photos in <a href='http://www.virtualtourist.com/m/.101103/article/1090/132/?s=j' target=newwindow> travelogue</a>).
