"Make an evening of dinner and..." BASEBALL - Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field Tip by aperion77

Make an evening of dinner and then walking the trail along the Lake shore. Watching the sunset from the beach is a really romantic way to wind down an evening out. If traveling with kids, don't miss Great America. I believe it is open until Halloween, if only on weekends after Labor Day weekend. The museums are great, too. The best thing about Chicago, in my opinion, are its many festivals. Popular ones include the Taste of Chicago, the Jazz Festival, the Blues Festival, Venetian Night, Gay Pride, and other summer concerts at the Petrillo Band Shell. The Cubs are worth seeing I am told.
Well, the Lake visit is self-explanatary. Great America seems to naturally appeal to the smaller ones. Museums can be fun and educational, which is always a good thing. The festivals really show the diversity of the city. Every flavor comes out and beacons one to taste it. Definitely do. You can and most likely will meet interesting people and have a great time. What more could you want?
