"Beaches are something you will..." Bondi Beach and Walks Tip by vili

Bondi Beach and Walks, Sydney: 102 reviews and 165 photos

Beaches are something you will not be able to avoid in Australia. Near Sydney, the most famous one (and by far the most crowdy) is Bondi beach - don't go there to relax swimming or sunbathing; it's a place to meet people and mingle. The same goes for Manly, a party paradise just north of Sydney. Other places to go out to party and enjoy night life are Kings Cross and Darling Harbour (a bit more fancy). If you want to spend a quite day on the beach, try for example the Jibbon beach, south of Sydney bordering on the second oldest national park in the world - Royal National Park; some of the original Aboriginal engravings can be found nearby. Northern from Sydney, beaches around Collaroy are also very enjoyable and a true paradise for surfers; stay in the Sydney Beachouse YHA at the Collaroy beach and enjoy one of the most pleasant hostels there is - you will even be able to learn to play a digeridoo.
