"Pickpocketers on Oxford Street..." Pickpockets, Beggars, Crime and Scams Tip by savageangel

Pickpocketers on Oxford Street and on the Tube. They work in gangs, are often children and never give a damn who they target. Be careful about flashing expensive equipment or jewellery around and if you can avoid using cash machines in any of the busy areas then all the better. People have been known to watch you put your PIN number in, typed it into their phone, followed you for an hour or so , snatch your wallet and then with the PIN number, clear your bank account out.

Also dont give money to begging children on the tube.

Cabs, dont ever just accept the word of the driver that he is a cabbie, if he is in a normal car. It is illegal for Minicabs to just pick people up of the street, so stick to ordering them or use a Black Cab. If you do however, decide to use the rogue minicabs, never do it alone (especially the girlies out there!)
