"My favourite place in London..." London Off The Beaten Path Tip by savageangel

London Off The Beaten Path: 1,701 reviews and 3,049 photos

My favourite place in London is probably my local market, Merton Abbey Mills. It's a kind of craft market thats open every weekend and includes a Farmers Market selling THE best organic, home grown (to speak off) eggs and bacon at very nice prices, which go straight to the Farmers. Its relatively small but has a real atmosphere about it. There is a pub, a traditional Italian pizza/pasta place and a cafe as well as various food stalls selling international cuisine, so you'll not go hungry. The best stall is the coffee stall where they sell loads of different flavoured beans and grind them to your specification there and then.

Nearest Tube station is Colliers Wood on the Northern Line. Come out of there turn left and keep walking to the big roundabout, cross the road and go in through the car park.
