Fondest memory: What I was struck by the most was all the beautiful 19th and early 20th century architecture. Unfortunately, it all seems so overshadowed by the awsome, sky-reaching glass cubes and tubes that are the modern office buildings. Sometimes there would be one old brownstone sandwiched between two giant glass or concrete monsters. It just seems like a lot of this gets lost in the noise.
