"Kon-Tiki Museum" Kon Tiki Museum Tip by laurentka

Kon Tiki Museum, Oslo: 41 reviews and 72 photos

A museum dedicated to Thor Heyerdahl and his expeditions. You can see the original Kon-Tiki raft (with a 30ft whale shark underneath), the original RA II reed boat, copies of Easter Island statues, Archaeological finds, interactive videos. I spent quite some time in there, very interesting place.

Address: Bygdøy
Directions: It's located in Bygdøynesvelen. You get there easily by bus (#30 stops about 10mins walk away) or during summer take the ferry from Pier 3 in front of the City Hall which leaves you off right outside.
