Musee d'Orsay, Paris: 275 reviews and 558 photos

The Orsay railway station was built in 1900 and was closed in 1939. For years it was used for many purposes. In 1986 the adaptation of this building for the museum began. Since 1987 it?s 50 000 sq m of exposition of the sculptures and paintings mostly from period 1850-1914. The most famous part of this museum is the collection of impressionists and postimpressionists works. I love to be here. Any time I?m in Paris I visit this museum especially for Degas pastels and Toulouse-Lautrec works.
