Tate Modern, London: 154 reviews and 243 photos

The Tate Modern
Britain's greatest modern art gallery, In My 'Umble Opinion.
Housed in what used to be Bankside Power Station, on the south bank of the Thames
Even if you're not keen on grand pianos suspended from the ceiling, at least go and see the building.
The upper floors have sitting rooms with comfy sofas and art books, with STUNNING views across the river to St Pauls.

Directions: Tate Modern is located on the south bank of the River Thames at Bankside, near Blackfriars Bridge, opposite St Paul's Cathedral and next to the Globe Theatre.
