"O'Connell Street. Close to..." Dublin Tourist Trap Tip by KennetRose

Dublin Tourist Traps: 92 reviews and 60 photos

O'Connell Street. Close to the history of Irish independence it may be, but now it's a tacky thoroughfare of fast-food joints. It catches the wind something rotten too, and the statue of the spirit of the Liffey, known as 'The floozie in the jacuzzi', has been taken away, apparently having been used as a receptacle for fast food containers (and worse!) for years. The North Side has much better things to offer than this!
