Climb up the peak (or get the tram and walk round it)
It's a huge hill just on the edge of town and provides dramatic views over the whole place. Then, if you choose to go round the walk (allow an hour or so) you also get to see the enormous harbour area. It's a different world from the city, where it's far from clear that there's a working harbour.
You'll want a fairly clear day to make the most of this - we were lucky when we went up; it was the clearest day of our visit.

Address: Hongkong Island
Directions: From Central station you can get a tram or bus to the bottom of the funicular and then it's an alarmingly steep climb to the top. You HAVE to sit in the funicular!
