Make a daytrip by bus to Tramore, which is one of the leading seaside resorts in Ireland.
The town of Tramore is very touristic with a big Amusement Parc, but the coastline is very beautiful. It has a 5 km long sandy beach (see photo), a fine promenade and many cliffs. The Doneraile Walk which leads out of the town offers a brilliant view of the bay.
Directions: Tramore is situated 8 miles south of Waterford City.
