"Jefferson Memorial and the..." Jefferson Memorial - Tidal Basin Tip by bokononist

Jefferson Memorial and the Tidal Basin. I really like the simple design of the memorial and little historical section underneath. It's really neat at night when you're the only one there, walking around and reading 4 excerpts of his writings on the walls.
When the ice in the tidal basin melts, this is a great place to rent a paddle boat - a great way to while away a spring day.
