"You can either fly to Thailand..." Thailand Transportation Tip by volarevolare

Thailand Transportation: 412 reviews and 306 photos

You can either fly to Thailand on their national carrier Thai Airways which has international flights to lots of countries, or you could try taking a train from Malaysia up towards Thailand.

Personally, I've always flown into Thailand... not tried other modes of transport yet.
In Bangkok you could take their Light Rail Transit... I'm not sure what it's called but you'd see it around for sure. It take you to quite a few places within Bangkok, and even to the Chatuchak Market!
Otherwise, take their 'Tuk-Tuk's' -- these are modified motorcycles that have a small cabin that sits up to 2 - 4 persons within it.
Make sure you hang on tight cos' they go really fast and are quite exposed! You wouldn't want to fly out.
Oh... they have buses, taxis and water-taxis too.

Type: Train
