"Rent a car and go to..." Chichen Itza Tip by JohnBee

Chichen Itza, Cancún: 54 reviews and 82 photos

Rent a car and go to Chichen-Itza. Chichen Itza is a famous ancient Maya city. It consists of a lot of ancient buildings and ruins a.o. a ball-game field, the Kukulkan pyramid.
The pyramid has a slope of 52°. It consists of 4 times 91 steps. The four stairs come together at 1 final step leading to a temple on top. 4*91 + 1 = 365 representing the number of days of a year. When you have climbed all the way to the top of the pyramid you have a nice view over Chichen-Itza

I think the height is about 45 metres. Since the slope is quite steep for stairs going down can be pretty scary. So be careful!
