fiddleville- fiddle contest in small (cca 5000 habitants) town Shelburne- in August
It's a big fiddle and drinking ;) contest in a small town of Shelburne, cca 2 hours from Toronto...people around the North America come there and have the greatest time for one weekend...it's a tradition there, it's totally informal and people are extremely pleasent and polite. They come there with trailers and tents and just stay together and have fun for 3 days...some of them come there from locations very far apart and that's the only time of the year when they meet- when i was there, i met some people who came with the trailer all the way from california- i think that speaks enough for itself :-)

Address: Shelburne, Ontario
an hour away from Toronto
