"The Highlands" Scotland Things to Do Tip by Krumel

My favourite part of Scotland are the Highlands, especially the area around Fort William south of Loch Ness. The scenery is breathtaking, and the place is full of history. In that area you will find Ben Nevis (Britain’s highest mountain), Glencoe (a valley cutting through a dramatic mountain range) and Glenfinnan (a beautiful mountain lake with a memorial to Bonnie Prince Charlie).

For more information and pictures have a look at my Fort William travelogue.
