Yesil Ev, Sultanhamet: "Yesil Ev, Sultanhamet" Istanbul Restaurant Tip by leffe3

Istanbul Restaurants: 929 reviews and 1,244 photos

An oasis of calm in the middle of the Sultanhamet area. The restaurant is part of the Yesil Ev Hotel - one of the famed converted wooden buildings. In the shadey courtyard, tinkling fountains and the backdrop of the pale green-painted hotel, its a welcome break. No attempt at Ottoman - simple, linen tableclothes etc and without overly pandering to tourism, this is slightly more expensive than many of the nearby restaurants. But the food is good and there is no feeling of being rushed.

Directions: Kabasakal Cad - pedestrianised alley very close to the Sultanhamet Park (southern side).
