"Piazza Del Campidoglio" Capitoline Hill - Campidoglio Tip by Packerman
Capitoline Hill - Campidoglio, Rome: 86 reviews and 145 photos
A nice place to get away from the noise and traffic of Rome. There is a very refreshing cold water fountain right next to the Senate building. The concrete ground has a very interesting design to it. There is a large statue (Dioscuri) of a man on a horse in the middle. The entrance after climbing the gradual steps has the statues of Contantine and his son Contantius II and sculptures of Marius' Trophies. Our kids enjoyed feeding the pigeons and chasing them with a water bottle or just throwing stones at them. When my kids are having fun, I can relax!
Address: Right by the Roman Forum and Vittoriano monument.
