"En France go to wine country..." Europe Hotel Tip by ejsrdenny

En France go to wine country and stay in an old converted farm house. You are guaranteed a warm feel, interesting architechture and absolutely fabulous cuisine. In Deutchland visit a Gasthaus, especially in winter it will welcome you from the cold, warm you with the Eifel Wasser and ensure snug down blankets to lull you to sleep. In Italia, take time to talk to the inkeeper and learn about his family, ask him to prepare his favorite dish and drink heartily of the vino dela casa. In Spain you are on your own. In Belgium, be sure to ask for a late check out and stay away from the local beer after Midnight, time your visit to learn about the town history through local presentations. When in Switzerland rent a car to see the true beauty but if you stop have your travellers cheques handy. In Austria, go for the first snow fall and Schnitzle, drive into any small town and enjoy the wonderful hospitallity at a house that advertises Zimmer for rent. In Holland, the people are tall and the accomidations good, forget sleeping and get out on the town! Too many to continue, my best advise is find a way to set up residence in one spot, then travel extensively to everywhere else. When that gets old, rediscover your wonderful new hometown!
Average is $100 US, but many cheaper with great memories and several more expensive but forgetable

Price Comparison: about average
Theme: Pension/Guesthouse
