South Bank, London: 96 reviews and 210 photos
Visit some of the new architecture - London's not stuck in its past!
This is the new Greater London Authority building. It looks odd but it's said to work really well. Internally it appears as if you are in the centre of a spiral because all floors are visible. From September 2002 the public will be allowed access to the refreshment areas, to meetings, and to the top floor viewing galleries which will also be used as exhibition spaces.
Address: On the South Bank, next to Tower Bridge.
Directions: Waterloo tube
