In the former 13th century Franciscan Convent that is located in the heart of the historical town center of Beja is the Pousada São Francisco.

A Pousada is a castles, palaces or regional home that has been fixed up to be a Pousada, a place to sleep and or eat.

This one is the only one in Beja and is new to the Pousadas. It is very nice and cool in the summer months and is located in the center of town.

Unique Qualities: The food here is top rate and the rooms are awesome.
