"There seems to be an abundance..." Sydney Hotel Tip by Skylink

Sydney Hotels: 561 reviews and 550 photos

There seems to be an abundance of cheap lodging in Sydney. I stayed at a hotel near Darling Harbour which is actually inconvenient unless you are attending a meeting at the convention centre. The developers have tried to improve access by the monorail and light rail, but these systems are separate from the bus/train/ferry system. There didn't seem to be many buses to Darling Harbour. There is a scenic, but slow ferry from Darling Harbour (by the aquarium and north of the Maritime Museum) that travels under Harbour Bridge on its way to Circular Quay. This is the monorail.
