Favorite thing: You can see Mount Ranier as you drive south of Seattle. It is a dormant volcano. Snoqualmie Falls is a tall waterfall, not as big as Gulfloss in Iceland, bigger than the US side of Niagara Falls, is about 30 km (20 mi) east of Seattle near I-90.
This is a photo of the Space Needle, which was built for the 1962 World's Fair. Compared to other towers in other cities or even compared to the buildings in downtown, it is not too tall. There is a revolving restaurant under the observation deck.
