"Samsun has long sandy beaches..." Samsun Off The Beaten Path Tip by voyageur2
Samsun Off The Beaten Path: 2 reviews and 3 photos
Samsun has long sandy beaches in both western and eastern sides. If you do not like to spend all your holiday at the seaside i recommend you mountainous areas. Nowadays it is possible to go to hills by car. But discovering our unique nature by climbing or walking is a better way. A break near a fountain or stream, smells of grass, wild flowers and thyme will surround you with love. Here is a good itinerary:Go to Duvecik village(8 kms southeast of Samsun-Other side of Mert river) then continue to walk to hills you see. When you arrive the top, a nice scenery will meet you. Now you can enjoy looking down the Yilanlidere(Snake Stream) valley.
