Favorite thing: With someone who had never been to London before, I would probably go on a sightseeing tour. There are several double decker tours starting between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square and this way you get to see all the sights so you can make up your mind about what to see more of. Then there is a lot of walking to be done to see all of it properly, so make sure you've got good shoes!

Fondest memory: I miss walking up and down Charing Cross Road looking for bargain books in one of the many book shops. The food from all over the world and the many wonderful parks are other things I miss as well as the general feeling of being where it all happens.
