Luggage and bags: Depends on your trip. There's everything from business to backpacking here.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: An umbrella is a must as some days you see nothing but rain here and it can come suddenly. It's also not very windy apart from in January so umbrellas often survive unlike in for instance Edinburgh. With this goes of course shoes that can stand rain.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: There are thousands of more pharmacies than actually needed in Belgium so you shouldn't have a problem finding what you need in Brussels. Every pharmacy has a note on its door saying where you can find the emergency pharmacy for the week in question.

Photo Equipment: Never had any problems finding photo equipment although the development is more expensive here than both in Sweden and the UK for instance.

Miscellaneous: The picture here has nothing to do with packing but shows the Arch in Parc Cinquantennaire. You can see the Belgian flag as the arch was built to celebrate independency in 1830.
