"Ferry" Isle of Wight Transportation Tip by tini58de

To get to the UK we took the ferry from Hamburg to Harwich, but you can also take the plane, the train or nowadays use the Tunnel.

From Portsmouth we took the ferry over to the Isle of Wight and were quite satisfied with having our car with us (although it broke down halfway through the vacation!!! - another thrill!!) It was a little difficult though, to get used to driving on the left side!
