If you're travelling with public transports a lot, you'll save some money if you buy a special pass. Most tourists are recommended to buy the Paris Visite. It costs 30 € for 5 days. It also gives you some discounts at various tourist spots. There's an even cheaper one called Carte Orange. It's mostly used by the Parisians. It costs € 13 and is valid from mon-mon. I think it costs more if you want it to be valid in more zones. You need a photo to put on the pass. But if you forgot to bring one like us, it's ok as long as you just use it on the metro where you only have to put the other ticket in the machine. I think you need to use the pass with the photo on the buses.
