"The Olympic Stadium!" Olympic Village Tip by Deus_ultima

Olympic Village, Montreal: 31 reviews and 42 photos

This is where the 76 summer olympics were held! (We remember because we are still paying for them!) It's a 60 000 places stadium (max. cap.) that has an iclined tower and was built to have a retractable roof, but now it just stays there because it broke too often. This is where you can see Major League Baseball with our Montreal Expos! ( http://www.montrealexpos.com ) This is also where the auto show, the monster truck events, the Supercross events, some rock concerts and TONS of other stuff happen. The Biodome, where you can see animals from all over the globe in a controled environment as well as the insectarium which displays one of the worlds biggest insect collection (and where you can eat insect lollipops) are very close by.

Address: Sherbrooke E., Montreal, QC H1T 3X2
Directions: Viau and Pie-IX streets. (it's huge..can't miss it!)
othercontact: For events and touristic info:
