Favorite thing: You may have heard of Philips. Eindhoven is where this multinational started. The 'White Lady' is the company's former main office-building. For some stupid reason company director Cor Boonstra, a former coffee-salesman who later turned out to be a criminal, decided to move the whole office to Amsterdam, and now this building is used for other purposes, including the public library.
