"For some reason, the Cathedral..." Hofkirche - Catholic Cathedral Tip by kochamanita

Hofkirche - Catholic Cathedral, Dresden: 33 reviews and 84 photos

For some reason, the Cathedral was closed when I tried to see it. It was a Friday, and there was no religious holiday or anything. So I went back to the Kreuzkirche close to Prager Straße. It was very nice. The steps were a little tiring, but the view at the top was worth it, and was only 2DM to go up. What was nice was at the entrance, there was a benediction, 'Peace be with you,' I think. It was in just about every language, even Polish, which was nice considering I had just come from there. 'Spokoj byc z toba,' I think. Maybe I'm wrong... :)

Address: Schloßplatz
Directions: Near the far end of Prager Straße, away from the train station, and slightly to the right.
