"Pousadas." Portugal Hotel Tip by DanielF

Portugal Hotels: 188 reviews and 210 photos

Pousadas are a family run hotel chain inspired by the paradores in Spain. There are many pousadas scattered all around the country, Some of them are located in renovated historical buildings, but most of them are in modern buildings with a priviledged situation that provides spectacular views.

Unique Qualities: Most of the pousadas have also excellent restaurants that serve the regional specialities. Service in all of the pousadas can be considered excellent.

Directions: This is a picture of the citadelle of Bragan?a seen from our room in the Pousada. The building is modern and the decoration of the room was not very stylish, but the view was worth the while.
