"Hospitality" Morocco Warnings Or Dangers Tip by DanielF

Morocco Warnings and Dangers: 176 reviews and 133 photos

Like most of the people from third world countries, Moroccans are famous for their hospitality. They will be always pleased to talk to foreigners and share the little things they have with them. As you walk in the cities, many people will greet and sincerely welcome the tourists. But in the places which are very popular with tourists, some people regard visitors as a mere source of income. These people can become somewhat sticky and annoying and the best way to get rid of them is ignoring them. Or if you prefer, take a guide that will show around the labyrinth like medina and make the necessary to get this people away.

However, you must also be aware of the fact that every guide will unavoidably take you to the shops where he has made his arrangements with the owner. So all your efforts explaining that you are not interested in buying more of the wonderful Moroccan handycrafts will be totally useless.
