Bunmy restaurant: "Packbeng" Laos Restaurant Tip by call_me_rhia

it's a restaurant run by 4 bright kids aged 6-12, on a terrace overlooking the mekong river. it's a simple basic place with great food - in all fairness it did not look too hygienic - no one dared to eat meat there - but the food was really excellent - and no one was sick.

Favorite Dish: Fried rice with vegetables and peanuts: one of the best I've ever had. They also make sandwiches in the morning to bring on the boat. About 1.50 $

Address: inside the bunmy guesthouse
Price Comparison: about average
Directions: from the boat landing, when you come up the scree-slope, turn right. Follow the gravel road until you see the sign.
Price: less than US$10

Theme: Local

Review Helpfulness: 1.5 out of 5 stars
