In Varanasi you simply have to go to Aghori Ashram ( a hindu temple ) at Krim kund . Be sure to go by evening and attend a puja.To get there ask perhaps at the university or just ask a young hindu to show you where it is.A warning !! When you get there, if asked if youve been there before, it might be wise to say yes, because if its your first visit youd better bring a fresh set of clothes as you are supposed to take off your clothes after then puja and take a swim in the very filthy,( according to almost all people I promise ) but holy pond and then donate the clothes to the poor.To avoid walking home in your Adamsuit, bring other clothes or say youve already done the holy swim. Oh the prasad( offerings you get after the puja) consists of the ashes from the dead at the river Ganges, which someone might remember when youre offered to taste them instead of just getting painted in your face with them. This might seem a bit morbid to some but its not strange when youre actually there and no theres NO drugs involved!
The Aghor temple is a very special temple indeed but go there youll remember it forever!!
