"The day which every proud..." Singapore Things to Do Tip by leonik

Singapore Things to Do: 1,995 reviews and 3,531 photos

The day which every proud Singaporean is looking forward to - 9th August, Singapore's Birthday. Be part of the celebration!
Singapore just celebrated her 37th Birthday at the National Stadium!
Performers spend months training for their performances, there are also various military demonstrations, singalongs, pyrotechnic displays etc.
Tickets are given out free (2 for the actual parade and 4 for the preview parade) but tickets are snapped up as soon as they're released.. some 'entrepreneurs' resorted to selling them at black market rates online!
Get the details from the newspaper or from local friends a few weeks (usually mid-July) before the distribution date.

Directions: Usually it's held at the National Stadium but they held it at the Padang (a large open field in front of the Supreme Court at City Hall).
othercontact: This year's NDP website www.ndp2
