"Do you have what it takes...." New Jersey Warnings Or Dangers Tip by feline01
New Jersey Warnings and Dangers: 26 reviews and 25 photos
Driving in NJ takes guts. If you are a scared or hesitant driver, do not drive here. An interesting statistic is that the USA national average is 64 cars per square mile, NJ has 822 cars per mileage. It doesn't take Einstien to realize that in this relatively small state, there are a hell of alot of cars. We move fast and do not let others get in our way. Roads are crowded and people are cranky. And I almost forgot about the tolls, the Garden State Parkway has annoying tollbooths placed haphazardly throughout the system. The toll is only 35 cents but figuring out which lane takes exact change, which is non-exact change and which lane is EZ Pass is a complete nightmare, especially during rush hour and summer traffic. This picture is taken at the NJ Turnpike tollbooth at Exit 14 (Route 78, Route 22, Route 21, Routes 1&9, and Newark Airport). Notice the plane approaching over the tolls! The NJ Turnpike only has tollbooths when you get on (take a ticket) and when you exit (pay the toll).
