"By boat from Sweden, Estonia,..." Helsinki Transportation Tip by Sarppa

By boat from Sweden, Estonia, Germany or Poland.
There's two different boat companies you can use when coming from Sweden. Viking Line arrivals at Katajanokka which is almost in the city center but to the actual center you get by trams 2 and 4. Silja Line arrivals at Eteläsatama which is a bit far from the center if walking with your luggage. Take a taxi or tram 3T and it will be much easier. Some of the boats from Estonia have the same terminal as Viking or Silja but some of them arrival at Länsisatama. If coming with those take the bus 15 and you will end up at the Helsinki bus station at the city center.
