Agut: "Agut" Barcelona Restaurant Tip by greenfalcon7

Barcelona Restaurants: 1,251 reviews and 1,310 photos

A very charming restaurant set in the somewhat seedy Barrio Chino (Chinatown - although there's nothing Chinese about it). Agut has some good food but it's the atmosphere that I remember the most.

Go there for an adventure as you hurry along the streets - not really scared but not really comfortable. I felt more comfortable later on in the night, after dinner, when the street lights were on and there were various families walking around. At dusk, the narrow streets get dark and it does have that seedy look.

Directions: Gignas, 16 in the Barrio Chino
Get off at Jaime 1 Metro station

Definintely ask for directions here, as the narrow, winding streets of the Barrio Chino are confusing.
