Took the train from Toronto to Niagara Falls and Montreal. http://www.viarail.com
The subway(TTC) was also easy to use. TTC reaches out to the airport, and, for two dollars, you can get from the airport to dowtown; a bus service transports people to the nearest subway station. Here's a website on Toronto Transportation: http://www.themegacity.com/transportation/index.htm
