Fredericton Off The Beaten Path: 12 reviews and 12 photos

With its numerous lakes and rivers, NB is a boating and camping paradise. Whether renting jet-skis, sailing or trying the jet-boat ride at the Reversing Falls in Saint John (I recommend it!) there is lots to do. One of my favourites, is a relaxing canoe trip on one of the provinces many waterways (here at Magaguadavic Lake near Fredericton). There is also abundant wildlife from black bear, moose, deer, coyotes on down to a fantastic assortment of birdlife (whether sea or land-based)! This photo took some doing - I had to hit the time-delayed shutter release then run for the rock and clamber up before it went off in 10 seconds! I did not quite make it, as I was scampering across the rock face in front of my seated buddy when the shutter released!
