Visit the Missouri Botanical Gardens (Shaw's Gardens). Even in the winter it's beautiful as the picture here shows.
Has a climatron for a rain forest, a temperate house, a huge japanese gardens, a maze, an Italian gardens, a rose garden, a Linnean house (with lots of camellia in it and a little fountain), a Chinese gardens, Shaw's house, lots of statues throughout the grounds, a test area for growing and teaching, the main building with a restaurant and photo gallery, and lots of beauitiful trails. There's even a LaBeaume English Woodlands!
